Webmasters
The nutty me just realised that there is a "webmaster" category, but there are no links to the c64 related sites the webmasters are dealing with. I know that websites are not c64 releases, but just as "c128 release", "other platform c64 tool", "super cpu release" or "c64 papermag", they are in some way connected to the c64 or at least hold informations about it. Is there a solution for that or was this already discussed? Place websites into the Misc. category, or forget them at all? Just curious. |

Website is not a C64 release (just as remix od SID music released as real music is not C64 release
or remake of a C64 game for PC is not a C64 release and so on.), but as this is an internet database, it should be possible to add links to websites related to author or scener, or made by him to extend the information width (I wouldn't call that value ;-) of this site.

There is allready one website pr scener, but there could be more than one (e.g. seperated by "," in the edit-page)
But that's not what you guys suggest, ofcoz... I'm just a little afraid that the database will be totally spammed by websites if there was a website catagory, and every group and scener (and non-scener) went ahead and added their website into CSDb as a release. (and don't think websites are releases, but i see your point)
Don't ya think? |

Not a perfect solution, but a step ahead: allow adding websites only for those individuals who declare themselves as "webmasters" - without a link to the group, as long it's not the group's homepage. |
