about adding HVSC paths to CSDB

Something came to my mind this morning:

It would be interesting to have not only the composers in the credits but also the corresponding tunes with the HVSC path. I bet many people here are into SID stuff and also have the complete HVSC on their harddisk. Some enthusiasts and SID experts (like me, ahem) would maybe even take the time to look up the tunes and add them to the database.

If you think one step further you could even make the songs playable in the browser by clicking on it, this can be done in a hidden frame or in a popup window.

I know that the HVSC crew is looking for someone to build up such a database where one can see which tune was used in which demo, but why not include the information here?
I already have something like that on my website, of course on a much smaller scale. Check out THE DEMO DUNGEON (http://demodungeon.c64.org) to see what I mean.

What do you all think about it?

yes, and while we are at it, make a list of effects that where used in the demos, too...

border sprites ............. check
dycp ....................... check
fld ........................ check
fli ........................ check

...

no, serious, imo thats just a tid bit of too much information, when

a) a lot of musicians haven't even been added yet
b) there isn't even proper credits to coders and graphic artists for most of the demos yet
c) this is a scene database, not a music database, and adding a feature like that surely will cause the data ratio for music stuff go up a lot

don't get me wrong, I like SID music as much as the next C64 scener, but I'd hate seeing the SIDmaniacs get all over this "scene database" and cluster it with SID information, when shifting the entire emphasis of this database towards music...
