Any rule for adding screenshoots for cracks releases?
I've noticed, that someone adds screenshots for latest added releases. Nothing odd, but I've realised, that lots of those screenshoots are wrong - they are taken directly from the game, not from the cracktro(s). Imho the screenshoots should show the differences between other cracks and adding screenshoot directly from game will not show the difference for someone, who wants to find a proper crack instead of downloading all files from csdb.
Here are some examples:
The Untouchables 2-4
Altered Beast [tape]
Music Shop
CoverGirl Strip Poker
And maybe others... Someone can take care about it and check who added these screenshoots and tell him that it would be more better to add screenshoots from cracktros, instead from games? Looking forward for any feedback for this proposal :) |

yes, please add a rule, as until now i have always uploaded a game-in-screenshot only, but if there is a rule then i will do different ofcourse. |

I think Perff should implement an animated-gif-maker so you could upload say 5-6 different screenshots & an animated gif will be created automagically. :) |

For cracks I'd say the crackintro and trainermenu should be includded, aswell as the title-screen. If only uploading 1 pic, it should be the cracktro (imho).
Loads of cracks with just a in-game shot doesn't show the difference between them (sorry Acidchild). |

If we're getting picky about this, make sure to include a requirement to show _all_ intros ... not just the PAL intro or NTSC ... both.

If we are talking about to add crack intro AND game-in image ok. But personally I always prefered the game-in pic instead the crack intro only.. Here's an example.. Let's say I'm searching all the releases of Nemesis by Ariolasoft. With this entry I'm sure it's what I need: http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=56504. With this entry instead I get Nemesis by Konami which I'm not interested: http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=72517. All what I need is to be sure about the game and that groups/crackers and enhanchments (+++, dox, pic etc..) are written. This is of course my personal need, many others probably have different ones. |

Please add SID files aswell. Crack intros, and for the game itself (most important). :-P |

you shouldnt link ANY sid files to a crack- neither for the crack intro nor for the game. crack intro sid files should be linked to a separate crack intro entry associated with the crack. otherwise sid file links(and crack intro credits) would have to be duplicated over tens and hundreds of cracks using the same cracktro. |
