Jailbird and Archmage are right; being able to sort graphics by their descriptor would be really useful. Right now, looking for images in different formats is a real pain in the ass, since you have to search all images manually. |

One could make crawler robot that would crawl CSDB and generate lists of pictures taking format data if available, and have One's own lists, sorted whatever way one wishes, linking to appropriate images. One could even make thumbnails out of pictures for easier browsing.
Btw. CoolIris browsing could also be implemented on CSDB. |

@Jetboy: now as you mention data fetching, CSDB's webservice provides a similar functionality. although it's not perfect.
In case Perff would extend it to sub-types, it would be quite easy to create a separate CSDB graphics-gallery. Wasn't thinking about it too much yet, but I off the top of my head I see some interesting possibilities. |

There are still about 15 different things he is currently coding to improve this site already...

@Celtic: Perff knows the best how patient we are and he's exactly aware how much we appreciate all the little tidbits he implemented upon our requests. And even if I suspect you're actually kidding, yet to my currently very tired and worn-out brain it sounds more like you trying to patronize a bunch of misbehaving, unmannerly kids. Look, the function was requested 5 months ago and I bumped the thread 3-4 times (once in a month or two) as I noticed that people found it interesting and I didn't wanted it to get buried under a pile of stinking turds, like the 67th downvoting topic or the Michael Jackson thread.
OK, sorry for the small rant but I'm completely knackered and not in my best mood. Off to sleep now.

Sorry I didn't implement this rather simple feature before now, but I must admit that I only saw the thread when it was "re-activated" like a week ago, and at that time I didn't really have the time for it.
By some miracle (perhaps the picture? :) ) I didn't just forget about the request again, and finally got the 30 minutes it took to fix yesterday.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that is you want my attention, send me a PM with a link to the thread or something, and when I forget about it, send me another one (give it a week or two at least though. ;) )
