.sid U/L procedure for new musician

Greetings. I'd like to add this sid file to the db. I've read the rules but don't wanna dork things up.

I've never been in any (C-64) groups. Do I add myself as a freelance scener and then upload the .sid? I see that most sid files on here are linked to their respective HVSC link, should I have the file added to High Voltage before posting it here?

make sure to save the tune as prg (executable) with sidwizard, or convert your .sid to prg with PSID64 V1.2 so you can upload the executable, which is the preferred format; the sid as download here on CSDb is a plus, but a nice addition. The sid file will be linked anyway to your tune entry with the HVSC path when next update is released, assumed I can get my hands on it and can add it to the next update =)
It's perfectly normal to add yourself as releaser, if you're not part of any group. Create your scener entry then create the release entry and add yourself as releaser and to music credits.
