Deletion of uploaded intro

I have a question on why was an intro I uploaded deleted? It is a different intro that is not on the site. It was a PE intro for Sexy Breakout.

Is there a reason for the deletion?

Appreciate a reply.

Thank you.

Because it is a very close variant of Public Enemy Intro 08. If you want you can add your file there instead as a variant, but not as a new entry.

The entry you named "Public Enemy Intro - Sexy Breakout" is really the same as Public Enemy Intro 08 but from another crack so the only differences are the logo color, the scroll text, and few differences in the relocation routine executed after pressing space. Really not worth for either another entry or even to be added as variant to the existing CSDb entry.

thats an interesting practice, often times others were forced to create new entry when they patched somehing in a buggy release.

That's for full releases. This is only a practice for ripped intros. All intro variants are already preserved together with their original release.

Thank you all for the quick responses. I had a feeling it had something to do being similar. I will add the file to PE intro 08

Thank you again for the clarification.
