Ex-groups listed in credits.
Here f.ex. U.S. Gold & Gremlin Transfer
I understand that Thanatos is listed as group because there's no year mentioned when he left that group, but since he's listed as ex-member it should only say Triangle IMO. |

the question is, was he an ex-member when that release was released? :o) |

Ok, you got a point in that. :)
But since it was released in 1991 I'd have to answer yes. |

Well. It says he joined Thanatos in 1988. The release was from 1991. All the system knows, is that he is an ex-member today (2008), so you tell me an algorithm which can determine when he became an ex-member. ;)
Generally in CSDb I made it so all unknown periods are as long as possible. That means the system asumes he became an exmember yesterday (kinda). |

Alright, I understand. I didn't think of that... But.. :)
If I set a dissolving year of 1990 for Thanatos he's still listed the same way on a release from 1991, now at least THAT must be wrong. ;) |

I agree. (Actually though about it when I wrote the previous post, but hoped no one else wouldn't think of it. ;) )
Unfortunatly my code isn't this intelligent - yet. :) |

I'm still puzzled...
In Antique Parts Eliz is credited as Eliz of Antic even though his membership in Antic started & ended in 1993.
MC though is credited without any group even though his entry says nothing about when he left D-USA Team. |

because its a release of Antic and the time frame of the membership in Antic is disregarded in such case.
