Looking for SID composers...
Me and the HVSC team are looking for the correct credits of these SID tunes and I thought someone at CSDb who's just looking by could help out... so if you just are an old school C64 ace and just got nothing else to do, why not listen to some of these tunes, they might sound familiar and we like to know who did them. Have Fun! (some of them are really cool, e.g. the NBB Intro track)

TV Tunes Mix was composed by 20CC. I think it was EVS, but I´m not sure about it! Was released in a 20CC music collection. Should have it somewhere if you need it! |

Art Designer 06 is most likely by BeatMachine (Chris Ammermüller). But that's just my urine telling me that, no hard evidence. :-/
The Cosmi Intro is indeed linked in front of a lot of Cosmi games. We'll add the game rip of Shamus this update, which will include it.
Grand Larcency is by Neil Brennan, he confirmed it to us a week ago.
RAD Intro must be Whitaker from the sounds and the style, but again no evidence.
Voodoo Dawn page 2 is in HVSC: /Detert_Thomas/Digital_Marketing_Intro.sid :-)
X-Or Intro is in HVSC: /DEMOS/UNKNOWN/Pacrunner.sid
Still, unknown composer...

We 'concluded' that RAD is a hack in DW's player, since DW refused it. First used by Radwar as I recall. |

I found My_Heroes.sid here in HVSC, it's a by a guy called FieserWolf/Metalvotze (Metalvotze is the most stupid and ridicolous group name I ever seen, "Votze" means cunt in German, lame!)
Cosmi Intro is probably by Paul Norman then, also Delta Man is very probably by him
RAD Intro tune is very known and quite cool, shouldnt be too difficult to find the composer, even if its DW player it doesnt sound like him at all
I listened to these tunes and some guesses meanwhile...
Empire Intro is by Blackice/Eclipse
Nirvana Intro by Dave/Nirvana, the only composer in the group...
X-Rated Intro by Maduplec
just some guesses by ear of music style and player sounds

Rough: about RAD intro..
There was a guy in Light Circle who hacked music, and since I heard this tune in a Radwar cracktro, maybe there is a connection.
But those old Radwar guys don't reply to mails anymore, other if you are one of their old friends.. I tried, about other stuff.

rough:
metalvotze kommt aus dem sueddeutschen (obs die Bajowaren oder die Schwaben oder die Franken waren ist mir auch egal) und bedeutet dort soviel wie: die härteste Ohrfeige, die du je bekommen hast ... also bitte nie die Mundart von Leuten mit Dummheit verwechseln!

I always thought the tune called RAD Intro was made by Dave himself, that it was an early version of Max Headroom #4. It's very similar. |

Magst a Votzn? Wenn ihr das mal in Bayern hört dann lauft lieber und sagt nicht dummerweise 'Ja', weil ihr denkt jetzt gibt's was zum ficken. Das is so viel wie Watschn, eine aufs Maul. Votze ist nicht die Pussy sondern die Fresse, das Maul, der Mund. Aber weil anscheinend die Hälfte der Deutschen Legastheniker sind und nicht zwischen Fotze (die Pussy, Mumu, Muschi) und Votze unterscheiden können glauben eben verdammt viele wir haben was mit einer Muschi zu tun. Selber schuld! Regt euch nur weiter drüber auf, uns freut's :-P |
