Hi all,

some of you know maybe the channel from BastichB 64K: https://www.youtube.com/@BastichB64K

Here is the newest video: C64 Weekly #34 (Commodore 64 Scene Updates) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xllbMRA5lJA

Looks like the channel has disappeared, I wonder what happened.

"404 Not Found
This page isn't available. Sorry about that.
Try searching for something else."

and

"Video unavailable
This video is no longer available because the YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated."

Ah yes, I saw on Twitter earlier about that:-

“ Please help , My YouTube channel of 6 years of hard work got hacked and turned crypto & it looks like YouTube have erased the channel. Please help me Team YouTube @TeamYouTube”

(From @BastichB64k)

Somebody from TeamYouTube had responded and were going to look into it.

This is hardcore. I hope BastichB 64K gets the channel back with all videos. And I hope next time he uses all possible security measures.

I saw the hacked livestream yesterday, and I was like wtf is this.

Poor guy, got his Facebook community and account removed already last month due to AI falsely identifying him as underage.

I hope he gets his channel and videos back, I rather like his channel.

The future of internet. Poor guy. Hope he will get his channel back. At the same time I am happy I quit Meta, Google and all the big corporation shit.

TBH - I am deeply unimpressed. ANYTHING containing commercial crap based on other ppls work - in my asshole humble opinion - delete that channel!

Probably the fact that he promotes scene stuff while making money on it? (Ads/sponsors in the middle of the video etc). I agree that’s very unscene and shitty, even if it’s better than selling cracks the Twins way.

Now waiting for Twins to sponsor his vids. :-)
I have to admit I do like the channel anyway, especially his deep dives into complex and/or obscure old games and publishers.

Yean I like his deep dives, and I don't mind the ads I can just move past them with the slider.

Editing videos is work, I tried to do youtube once.

His rapid fire tests are also very enjoyable.
