i have something saying "use lynx to disolve this file"
what the hell does this mean
i am trying to run a prg file through vice and thats what it says |

Lynx is a sort of zip program for the c64,
so you need to download lynx to unpack the file
You find lynx etc at TDD |

or use 64Copy V4.20 to convert it back to a D64 again.

actually lynx isnt like a zipper, it doesnt pack, just merge. |

yeah and its a pain in the arse aswell but i know how to use it now or more to the point extract whatevers inside the .lnx file :))

if you are interested: its purpose was in BBS times to have 1 file to download from the board archives (else it be confusing browsing the dirs), packing was unneccessary coswe all had our lovely Cruels, ABs and TimeCrunchers. |
