Could be a nice opportunity there for a C64 expert to get some highly paid work for such a difficult and time consuming task. ;)

Wasn't the Una bomber also a c64 user? I remember having read somewhere he had 2 in use.
What does that say about us? |

Call him, I don't speak deutsch
http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache:-R-444u_9bsJ:www.bmi.gv.at..
there is a tel. at the end of document.
I've sent e-mail to infopoint@bmi.gv.at meanwhile.. (just out of curiosity). I'm sure the guys at Austrian police will handle it sooner or later. IMO "the press" needed to have some "mysterious mumbo-jumbo" so maj. gen. Gerhard Lang give them what they wanted. |

Weird thing that the scientists team of the police cant transfert datas to their systems, may be they dont want to get these informations, who knows... (I'm not a X-files addict! ;). |

Hah, bullshit press.
Probably SOME cop said it wasnt that easy (true).
They all use the same news-line.
Maybe even planned to make the police look once more stupid and harmless. I bet till last year THEY used c64... |

@slashdot
"I still use my Atari 800 and it's way better than a commie. There are more colors and it's much faster at 1.79 mhz vs Commodore's paltry 1 mhz.
What's even better, *my* kidnapped slave girl loves it and she hasn't run away and left me."
wuahaha :)

Hmm,reminds me of a weirdo I called 2 years ago to get a 1541 drive.
He kept on going about how wonderful it was for storing data that nobody would be able to retrieve..
Damn,I´ve lost the number.. |

@Oswald: Reply to him that his Atari effectively only has ~1.2 MHz due to DMA load (which the C64 has not because of 2 MHz bus) and with that 20% faster CPU they have to compensate their crappy sprite hardware which is ofcourse impossible :D |
