Good c64 multiplayer games?
Hello.
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for really fun multiplayer games. Ones that I enjoyed so far with friends is Ballistix. I don't think I really knew of many others and I know there are loads of them, but I only want the fun ones. :)
Thanks! |

I must admit I haven't played it since I was like 14 years old, so maybe I hate it too now. ;) |

pitstop2 is just so utterly primitive. I dont feel like taking curves at all. its a sprite bouncing left right while red and whit rasterlines are rolling on the sides of the 'road'.:P |

Armalyte in two player mode can be fun if you don't entirely stick to what was intended; try bouncing each other into the landscape! |

Way of the Exploding Fist is always a classic.
Gun Dogs (this old one actually caused a fight between me and a friend a long time ago, because of stolen kills ingame!) Hehe..
If you give it some time to learn the controls properly, Kikstart II is also a cool game to compete in.
And finally, of course... Bubble Bobble! :D |

Ikari Warriors - try to finish it without cheats! We never did it in pair, just solo (usual missunderstanding in multiplayer games - who is going to pick up power up? :)

I agree about Wizard of Wor and Rally Speedway, they are great. It's been a while but I remember The Goonies and Kikstart as very playable two-player games. Me and my bro (AssJacker) used to play Kikstart all the time one summer.

Me & my kid brother used to play Realms of Impossibility (http://www.gamebase64.com/game.php?id=6249&d=18&h=0). Lousy graphics but great gameplay. |

Are there any (so called) 'fun-racer', 'future-racer' games? (something like Mario Kart or WipeOut) |

Mario Bros, I had also alot of fun with some shorted called EH Soccer which was fun since we had own names on team I cannot remember exact title for this soccer game, and we played real time games this gives a very high scores in games (emelyn huges soccer or something like that).
But had alot of fun with this and use alot of hours doing that.
Then also if you like hockey games Superstar Ice Hockey where you could chose between goal keeper/attacker (center) and can be put in box if you not behave correctly in the game but game was still to easy, even with lousy players just need to find the scoring trick :)
Wizard of War, Bubble Bobble, Rally Speedway, Gauntlet, Kikstart and Bruce Lee good times, try most of these even that is pointed out allready. :)
Have fun. |
