BFP 2008?
As I am a family man now, I need to plan ahead. More specific, I need to plan my weekends/vacations six months ahead. Kind of sad, I know, but still...
Magervalp, Frantic and you guys... are you thinking about any specific dates for BFP this year? I had such a nice time last year that I'd like to show up again. |

A long way to travel for me too, but I found this party to be worth it last year. |

hehe, yes, I heard a lot of good things, so I am really considering... hopefully I can find someone who goes there too... either by car ( nice :_) ) or by train ( so I don't have to travel alone :_( )

Why not take the El Cheapo cityhopper flight to Copenhagen, Knoeki? Probably as cheap as to take the train directly. |

Long way to travel? Aren't you in Oslo, you slacker? That means you are almost 600 km closer to the party than I was the last time I went! Sheesh! |

Actually, the dutch people had a shorter way to travel than I had last BFP. That pretty much sums it up, methinks. |

Yeah, I found BFP to be a massive party debut for myself :)
Because of fortunate reasons, I will not be there this year: my wife is pregnant and about to give birth by the end of June, beginning of July.
It was a very difficult decision, which to attend... you will understand ;-) |

Hmm... Have some really cheap flights to Malmö, maybe I'll try it this year.
The party-place is near to Malmö, right? My map-reading capabilities are quite lame. |

Vanja, you have to take into consideration that I am a lazy 30+ old bum without a car, and that traveling to Helsingborg involves cramming my long legs into a bus with broken toilets, screaming kids and dog piss coffee. I am really too old for that shit, but still, I will. :)
JB: yep, pretty close to Malmö, so I guess some nice people can get you a ride from there. |

Hello dudes!
Nice to see that you're eager to party. :)
...and, yes. There will be a party. We need those nice summer parties, don't we? ;) Unfortunately the date is not set yet, but if it is possible it will be held the last weekend of July as usual. That would be 25-27:th of july.
Aaaanyway. Since time went on and on and the discussions about a BFP 2008 was quit slow this year, we finally decided like this: This year BFP won't be BFP, but LCP again (10 years after the first LCP! :) organized by myself, but all of you who ever visited LCP knows that BFP and LCP is very much the same thing. Same platforms, same compo, same non-rules, same visitors, etc. :)
It may come as a surprise, but it looks like this years LCP will in fact be held in Copenhagen, so you Euro-whiners: Stop complaining and get your ass over there! ;)
But, to summarize, the part place and date is not completely set yet. Stay tuned!
Now go nag the Floppy dudes too (Jucke, Taper, Iopop, Skyhawk) to set up a Floppy in February again. :)

Note to self: do not go on vacation last weekend in july! ..and no babies around that time either!

Yeah.. The Milk Factory was nice, of course, but can't be used anymore. (Used for other things now.)
Anyway, you won't be disappointed by this year's partyplace either... Be sure about that! ;) |

Last time i checked we had Carlsberg in Sweden... Kinda reminds me of Jucke last year when he told me that beer could easily be bought in Denmark and carried to the party for further consumption. I told him i would bring beer from home and he went crazy... "Swedish beer?? What! We drink Danish beer in Helsinborg you stupid fuck! Don't you dare bring swedish beer to the party!".. =) Oh, and on Saturday when the beer was gone i went and bought some more SWEDISH beer and Jucke just gave me the "angry eye" when entered the party place again. Copenhagen sounds nice, hope i'm allowed to come this year also. ;) |

Swedish beer kicks ass, really. Nothing like a nice bottle of Hell, or Jämtlands President. |

Swedish beer.. well, it is probably true that the average swedish beer suck, but there are quite good ones as well. You just have to know what to buy. It's the same with french wine, if you don't know what to buy you may end up with really sukky shit. Ask me, done that, cause i don't know what to buy :P.
Sweden == party desert :(. |

HCL & RadiantX: Well, Copenhagen is basically Sweden anyway, just more filthy and retarded (no offence, Devia!). And, we from Skåne are old snapphane sceners anyway, so... ;)
So, summer of 2008 will bring back LCP with man-machine organizer Frantic behind the wheels...
As for Swedish parties, who knows.. perhaps there will be a return of FLOPPY in the beginning of 2009 then... Time will tell! |

As it looks now St.Lars doesn't seem to occur until autumn.
And wouldn't that rock the 0resund c64 Party Scene? ->
Spring: FLOPPY
Summer: LITTLE COMPUTER PEOPLE
Autumn: SAINT LARS
Winter: The Party in Herning.. eeehrm, well. |

We still plan to run S:T Lars 2-4 of May. Gotta sort out the small location problem though... we're working on it! |

Where do i sign up for LCP? My favourite party is back! and Im going to be there as a guest this time! And i think throwing it in Copenhagen is a great idea. Communications are great, even better than Helsingborg as there is a good airport in cph. Furthermore, we will never run out of beer or smoke agian. (: I promise to be a total stronkard and even compete in compos this year. And $ixx, please smuggle swedish systembolaget beers to copenhagen this time. Looks like its gonna be a great party summer in the south this year. But before LCP I have all the faith in the S:T LARS celebration weekend in may. Data knights shall return to the pigbarn!! |

Things look very promising with the party place. Got some positive replies from the Danish guys.
Jucke: Send me that picture you drew of the partyplace will you? Seems like I will have use for that quite soon. :)
@Ninjasabne: I think it is safe to say that LCP/BFP is among the few c64 parties on top of mount D.A.T.A.
@RadiantX: Well, you don't even have to get off the train when going to Copenhagen, so... Sweden or not. Does that label really matter? Anyway, LCP will still be a Swedish party I guess, only located in DK, or... huhu.. yeah, well. :)

Well, if you're going to fuck up the party calendar like this, I guess we'd better try to get an autumn party going in Gothenburg. I have no idea where you'd find a party place though...

MagerValp: you if anyone could do a nice copyparty in Gothenburg and if you do it I will be there as a guest and give you a hand anytime if needed. I'm still thankful for your great support at BFP. In GBG you would have a pretty strong local support as many of the HT and UpRough dudes are there (including the super islandfreaks like spot and $ixx who will contribute immensely to the atmosphere), and from skåne or stockholm its just 3 hours by train or car or so. Good idea! You just need a place rough enough for databoys and alot of tables and chairs. The rest you already know. (: |

@Ptoing: You're very welcome! (And $ixx too of course! You're not only "allowed" to come, but obliged to! ;)
I'll try to smash up a site any day now.
When it's done, it will be located on http://lcp.c64.org
Stay tuned!
