Small world, eh.

LOL!!! Mason my man, I have those disks still, one day when I get that 1541 I can transfer tons of those over. I actually put up some old Demonix intros that I found. I had a small interview and it made me remember them.

It's funny because I remember most of what went on during the era, but the names are a little difficult to remember (+ Many of us changed handles from time to time)
I remember all the groups though - lol.
Funny to see a bunch of us from Fantasy still here - hehe.
Any one from (N)orth (E)ast (C)rackers left?
We were running things for a while towards the end of the software days (88-91) :)
We were living the scene back then though also.
Horizon was really talented.
I remember a bunch of us have met in person, but I can't recall who's who though.
Oh the glory days!
Good to see familiar people after all this time.

Codey!! Man I haven't seen/heard from you in years dude! Nah I haven't heard from Darrel in some years. That guy was talented boy, he lived not to far from me (about 3 hours).
Some years back he came down and we hung out but other then that I lost contact with him. How are you doing?? Damn soooo many old heads here boy!!!
It is like living it again!!

This is awesome. I returned to the scene after some 15+ years and old friends are also returning. I have always loved the C=64 scene and I will be with the scene till the very end.
That end clearly will only happen the day all computers shut down. The Commodore is truly immortal. People pushed the known physics of the 6510 back in the old scene. The programming techniques of today are quadruple incredible. The possibilities are unlimited because imagination is unlimited.
Long live our scene! |

Many of us old school sceners have been frozen in time and are just being thawed out. The process is not so quick at first. It will happen though. |

I agree, we could do with some more ntsc graphix/sound guys as well. Several coders, but not many sound/graphix guys.

I've said it many times that I would rather draw than code, even offered my services to "whoever", nobody bit. Now I'm forced to code and draw, which will scare people (and not in a good way).
My code is horrible, but my artwork is much better.
Wait for the full screen stuff coming soon to a c64 near you (hoping on a july 2008 release).
The July release will be my birthday present to myself.. 40 years old.. sigh...

I would have gladly accepted artwork from you. Back in the day, it was hard as hell for me to locate artists. For that matter before the days of the internet, everything was hard. |

@ The Shadow..
Perhaps I'll do some artwork for you. I'm kinda "stuck" in my code and need a distraction :) |

I listened to your music as well. I was reminded of John Lennon, optimistic unity and goodwill. I read some of the experiences you were forced to endure on your trip to California. Rough experiences are painful and sometimes traumatic, yet build such a strong base of compassion for others. |
