The biggest Scene Party

Which scene parties in the past (between 2000 and now) would you say were the biggest and popular scene parties around? I would probably say X2000 and MS2001. Being that there were a load of contributions for those particular parties. :)

Oh c'mon Richard.. this is SO obvious..
Best party was the Axis-of-Evil BBQ party in 2003.
It had the best releases (ask the FLT members that attended) plus best food supply *ever*

Although I am biased ( being someone evil ) I have to agree with gilligan, also this party introduced some memorable moments like "showcase of deodorant for selected sceners" and "yes puter nerds cant play frisbee".
And we also was delighted with numerous quality FLT releases and also I think a minicrack from Triad, but it didnt spread well ( which some of us are quite thankful for ).

I feel like I also have to chime in here and agree with Gilligan and Blackdroid. The Axis of Evil BBQ was indeed very big.

So a more relevant question is probably: what were the most memorable moments during this meeting?

I'd say when Gilligan and Blackdroid shared a bottle of blue cider and when Oxidy and Vodka had their little wet and wild session in the middle of the night.

I have to agree.

I still haven't forgiven myself for missing the perhaps greatest party so far in the C-64 scene history. The Triad+Fairlight invite-only Party in Stockholm 1987 must have been a weak event compared to this. I mean - this one must have been better taking into concideration that it was yet a third group who shared the arranging responsibility this time (Wrath) and still keeping it an invite-only event. Great respect to the arrangers for that. This, compared with the great releases make it the most important scene arrangement so far - "The Axis of Evil Meeting" in Västerås 2003.

The biggest Party was the Reunion between two middle-east States.
Too bad I had to code and missed it completely!

@ yago: Strange, Primary Star 2003 didn't even take place yet...?

After X canceled, Vision 2003 was the biggest C64 only party held lately.

I say X95; For seeing ALL the people there, from all over
Europe and groups.

X96; For the party where it did all end. The crackerscene did start to fade away the very next week, people didnt call the boards as much as earlier.

X98; For ANOTHER great show, with alot of oldies and a new
sign of activity.

Not to forget LCP and FLOPPY; For beeing there as a saviour when the world needs DATA!

I am there as you can see but I think the biggest C64 scene party already happened somewhere in the past and certainly not in the future!

This is definitly a horny event. There a re more guys coming than I expected and I'm looking forward to it. Tomorrow's my train to Amsterdam going, my equipment is packed (not with Sledgehammer, though) and I'm in partymood for the Primary Star.
Don't forget to bring a serious goat for partying.
