Jailbird was pulling your leg. That's another scene-drama on pouet. TWR isn't responsible for that.
But indeed, why is he banned?
I find TWR a quite funny character, living in his own world, with his own scene. Also that little touch of Tourette completes it.
In my opinion he's a harmless hairy skinhead wannabee with a Slayer lyric-book. |

okay,
TWR got banned because he uploaded three Tankard/WFP cracks (Miami Ice+6, Bomb-Hunt+2 and Balloon Crazy+4) and added "september 2008" as a release date. (no actual day, just month+year)
shit I find that pretty lame.

no, that wasnt the reason. he got kicked for flooding the database with crap (*), not listening, flooding with crap again, still not listening, and then even trying to be smartass by using that incomplete date. not that i expected him to understand that :)
and yeah i find it pretty lame too. it should have happend much earlier. (and if we'd still be in the old days that he praises so much, it would have)
*) crap that according to the rules doesnt belong here and should get deleted. which means work for the moderators (they must look at it to confirm it) - deliberately doing this just aint a good idea, and he knew it. |

come on groepaz, you sound like a schoolteacher. be reasonable, please?
I reckon we're just all a bunch of hotheaded people, you're one of them, so am I but I still don't think a ban was needed for 'the way he behaved', we're adults, right?
I'm not questioning you or any other mod but I think this ban should at least be reconsidered.

now repeat those words and tell me you don't sound like a wannabe elite.
whatever, I told you I'm hotheaded.
anyway, that's still not enough to me for a ban.

It's not a question about who's elite and who's lame, it's a question about who can follow simple rules and who can not. |

deliberatly violating the rules (which apply to EVERYONE here afterall) is enough of a reason for me really. and you can't say we didnt discuss his crap enough with him, quite the opposite. it was discussed so much that everyone, including the moderators, got sick and tired about it. |

well i didn't know.. i hope he learned something out of it.. becoz the idea that you can't behave normaly at a forum like this is to stopid for words...... well i was too soon with my judgement i think. i felt sorry for the guy, that was my motivation behind my first post about this guy...

so? why's those 2 smelly plastic keyboards with the lame 3 channel soundchip still sitting on my desk if we aren't living in the 80s anymore? you sir, must be one of those guys that claim to be from the future, therefore you have to be banned as well!
also, jailbird for president (in case nobody pulled that one before). |

oh fck that 80s WE'RE LEET YOU LAME shit. This man was a scener if any. And you banned him. Reminds me of a scene in "Law of the West" - where you'd shoot a guy, just because, and you'd get a message "My, aren't you a little trigger happy?".

Don't be such a drama-queen Mr. Mouse.
If you bothered to read this thread you would have known the reason by now, so there was no need to post this doo-doo.
Better put a lock on this thread before it attracts more attention-whores who want to jump the "being l33t is sooo 1988"-bandwagon. |

He was a Scener? In which scene? Never heard or saw anything before 2006 from him and since then I saw only crap.
Even in the old times a lamer had to be quiet and improve himself to get accepted some day. Maybe.
So far I see the same people crying for him.
But maybe doing frozen recracks and upload it to a scene-database is maybe l33t in your eyes?
And please stop with that babbling about elitism and whatever.
We were all lamers once, but WE improved and learned the rules.
And the topic with "TWR god" is an insult for him, it should be "TWR satan". |

Seriously, he deserved his ban like noone save for Wanderer have deserved it. Being ignorant and stupid on CSDb is one thing - being outright abusive and refusing to totally acknowledge any guideline is a totally different.
While we're at it - can someone please wax his retarded additions of recracks which never ever have been scene related, made for some german which wanted diskgames to tape? |

this has been discussed in another thread already - while i agree they are lame crap, they do not violate the rules and thus stay. (we cant delete just them, we'd have to delete other recracks from other, sometimes well known, groups too - which we definetely dont want) |

Groepaz has said already that he was given several chances; in real life, if you go into a pub and act like a dickhead you don't even get that so no, this isn't real life. |

indeed. and from my experience as an organizer on various parties i can say: beeing a lamer doesnt matter, and it doesn't get you thrown out. acting like a dickhead and deliberatly breaking rules DOES. |

So was the way he acted, so the measure fitted the reason.
Case closed, move on.
