I have been missing it since it went down and I was wondering if you need any files for the ftp site anyway and how can I get them to you!

Well, I have a question: I have scene in C64 Scene Data Base forum that "Gansta's Paradize is online again, but I am receiving only:
"!Can't get ftp.c64.rulez.org host entry"
"!Connection to ftp.c64.rulez.org failed".
What's up there?!??!
I mean I can open it with "Opera" but not with anonymous which is needed to upload stuff in the "pub" thread of course!
Thanks in advance!
Bye!

I remember Lion quit normal ftp mode for security reasons, I usually use putty/pscp to browse.

Hello there!
To rOuGh:
THe latest issue of "Scene World" (swo_03.zip) is since a while into your /incoming/C64 folder. Please move it into our "Scene World" folder! Thanks!
Please remove also "Vooodoo-Noter" zip file which were created by yourself (and surely not made by "The Stock! :)
Meanwhile, we have new fonts and versions (also an NTSC version of "Voodoo-Noter"!).
Thanks!
All the best!
Bye!

You know, one day they will invent some kind of electronic mail so people can send other people messages in some kind of privacy. |

Maybe it would be better to contact Lion/Chromance in this subject. |

Jazzcat, Lion and Rough are admins that I know of. You could keep using a public board for private stuff (like I am:) or use the private message feature (pm) or email. Their emails are not that hard to find, ie, handle@c64.rulez.org although jazzcat@c64.org will more likely be answered. |

Could you imagine that somebody is faster in thinking than you?! ;)
I hope you know what I mean...
Anyway, I tried it, and hope to get an answer!
All the best!

Does what I say answer your questions? Anyone answer the same? What you says kills my scene harmony. You cannot practice what you preach. There, you lose :) |

What the scene kills is the know-it-all way you are replying to posts!
Okay for you?!
(Well, I don't want to start a war here!!). |

I have a feeling I will last longer than you. Just wait for some releases that will back me up. Scene is made up of many people. If people are prepared to throw stones and are strong enough then they can handle the retaliation and still remain.
Scene harmony will never exist until only one person remains and that is no scene. |

Lucky for the scene, not everybody likes to be unfriendly to eachother... Long live the scene, peace will keep it alive. Wars in the past destroyed a big part of the scene, but the friendly guys kept it alive (not the unfriendly ones!). Many of these unfriendly guys are now trying to return to the scene, but their attitude won't kill the peace which most sceneguys nowadays build up.
Enjoy having wars and being unfriendly, it doesn't hurt the scene as long as the friendly guys/girls keep the support to this scene and hang on to eachother.

in my opinion its the 'bad guys' who kept the scene alive.
the people who release the stuff that makes me still
want to be a part of this scene are the evil ones who
make nasty comments but also do the stuff that is worth
something, not just another 'release for fun and to keep
the scene alive'. the ones who got an attitude and skills
to back it up with are the ones who saved the scene,
not the tree-hugging hippies who beg for peace, love
and understanding. |
