There are a few of us. :)
You just need to enter the circle. You can chat to some oz scener's on ircnet, #c64oz.
There is an oz forum at scene.org
There are 2 upcoming Aus events,
One this weekend in Sydney called Tinkercon: TiNKeRCoN 2010
And another a bit later in the year in Melbourne:
Syntax 2010
Not sure about the Brisbane weekend though - time and money. <--- that being said, I'd love to attend, so keep me in the loop and I'll let you know.

This is relevant to my interests. Flights MEL-BRI and SYD-BRI are pretty cheap. Too close to X for me to release much tho :)
(also: we're getting pretty spoiled for parties in oz now... syntax, beach, tinker, and now this :)) |

I finalised the booking for the hall today, so I really hope some ppl can make it :)
I think the last Commodore event in Brisbane was ARCADE 64 in 2004.
Anyway, should be a fun night of C64 stuff.
Forgot to mention-
There will also be a Bomb Mania tournament.
Feel free to come and show off anything you have created for the C64 or other Commodore 8bit.
Also bring any cool or rare hardware you may have.
Would be great to hear some stories from anyone who was in the scene back in the day.
It's just everything & anything C64.
Anyone interested please let me know. |

I would go but too far for me and so close to X.
Otherwise, awesome, have a good one there and advertise like hell on the scene.org forums.

Good! Get the ol' Aussie scene moving again, just as meetings and parties kept the Scandinavian core alive and brought along new. And make sure to get the geezers over in WA spinning as well as I want to see Einstein release the sequel to Revenge, one of the better demos of all time. |
