Considering attending LCP...

I know I posted this same thing on Pouet, but shortly after realized this was a much better place for it. Anyways, considering attending LCP but I have no one to go with! Sounds like a cool party with cool people going.. Anyone travelling from the Trondheim area who needs a buddy? :)

Still not sure whether I'm going there or ASM, just wanna know what options I have. Never been to an oldschool party before; think it'd be really fun :)

Early bump because I want to decide whether or not to go before it's too late!

Would be cool to meet up with someone along the way, just because I'm still a bit new to travelling (and still VERY new to 8bit scenes; don't know many people).

I'm pretty sure I'll be attending either way, just would be nice not to travel alone the entire way in a new country :) .

And YES, I have a prod :D

Most of us going from Oslo will be going by plane to Copenhagen and train from there to Lund. We considered travelling by train all the way, but decided against it. It takes too much time, and the price difference is near negligible.

Not all of us have booked tickets yet, but the plan is to take Norwegian flight DY932 down at 07:40 Friday morning and return on flight DY953 at 21:20 Sunday night. That gives us some time to fool around in Copenhagen and/or Lund before and after the party.

Being old farts, we have also booked hotel accommodations at Clarion Collection Planetstaden. The price is approximately NOK 800 per room per night for a room with two beds (booked through hotels.com). There are most likely cheaper alternatives to be found, though.

If you want to meetup at some point along the way, just send me a PM!

I thought people from Norway loved train and boats :)

Speaking of hotels... The one which is closest to the party place is probably Hotel Djingis Khan. Dunno about their prices, but it may be worth checking out. Definitely walking distance from the party place.

Thanks for the replies :) Looks like a bunch of guys on IRC convinced me to attend Evoke instead, though :D

Have fun at LCP, all!
