Big Dork New Guy!

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself... i got into C64 games through emulators back in 98 or so-ish but i was no stranger to alot of the games (i grew up with atari 800, 800xl but commodore stuff has been much more accessable and interesting [was jelous of kids with c64's]). i've always admired the game intros and thought they were sometimes way more interesting than the game... i've had a c64 for a while now... and i'm pretty exited about 64hdd! anyway... i just stumbled onto this site and my heart swells with big c64 love... thank you thank you...

I think many of us have had it the same way as you, with the game/intro-thing. When i was a kid, i also used to load cracks just to check the intros - i didn't care so much about the games them selves, but the intros were COOL. Later i got some demos, and i just went "WOW!". I've heard the same story from other people.
