Commodore Smart Phone
Hello,
Apparently the multiple resurrected Commodore brand is releasing hardware again.
This time it's a smart phone and it looks to be quite good compared to some of the rubbish we had earlier.
Anyone know which sceners are involved?

I know it's just a (re-)branded chinese or jap phone.
I was just wondering if there are people here who knew those guys mentioned in the article. |

Also, what's the point of emulating a c64 on a msartphone, without any proper controls, keyboard for crossdevelopment, and a completely broken aspect ratio as can be seen in the video, without any left and right border. BUT IT GOT A ZOMG C= LOGO ON IT!11111!2"onetwoeleven Also, noone needs a smartphone. |

Put a C= sticker on your device, install VICE + UAE4all, and you have a Commodore PET.

Spec wise the phone seems ok (Cortex A53 based 64bit cores) But still overpriced. Its just a android phone with some emulators installed.
Ideally the below would be preferable
proper 1:1 scale
50hz refresh
mini joypad on phone
Without the above however... |

You never know, but this is not a product of love for the brand. As mentioned above it's just a bait for nostalgic people to buy their smartphone because of the chickenhead sticker. |
