Amstelsoft

Hello guys,
A few years ago I recived a Commodore 64 with some additional modifications and switches implemented.
The computer itself is an old version of the C-64, also known as "The breadbin". Okay so far so good.

It has some custom kernals one is the original and the others are SpeedDos and ProfiDOS. Then it has somewhat 6 switches, to change programs such as Vizastar, FCopyIII, Turbo/Burst Nibbler, Lock/Unlock, Floppy Monitor and some SpeedDos copy etc.

It has a label written "Amstelsoft" and all the software has the name written all over them.

Has anyone more info about this computer or actually Amstelsoft? Like if it was a bigger "company" or well anything that could be of help.
Best regards,
Xiny6581 :)

There is a d64 formatted as AMSTELSOFT below.

But d64 content doesn't help much.

Amstelsoft sounds Dutch. Just like Amstelbier and the river Amstel runs through Amsterdam.

Sounds to me like some local lamer just plastering 'Amstelsoft' all over the software included. There where very little Dutch software houses back in the day, the only one I remember is 'Radarsoft', who made some educational software.

Yeah but the fact remains they made some hardware modifications too and the mods. made are really good. No "frankenstein" constructionbed at all.

Take a look at some of the images from my machine.
