Found this on YT... Trekkie related
Some guy coded a whole Star Trek Episode in BASIC in 1986. The music is obviously overdubbed.
But does anybody have the original release? GUess it was lost in time.

I recall having watched that one on YT, was kinda funny.
IIRC it was claimed that the the video data survived but the original code/screen data were lost. To me it was not really clear/rather doubtful on which 8 (or 16?) bit system it was done or if it was done on old hardware at all (and not much later with equipment other than 8 bit). |

Reminds me of the hundreds of "PETSCII movies" you could find on BBS back in the 80s. Too bad it seems most are gone now |
