odyssey by hans guenther schreck
On the number 3 of the Markt&Technik C64 Spiele Kollektion, there was a basic adventure game called Odyssey.
It had simple Petscii gfx and you had to input the command by the keyboard.
In the Endsequenz Hans tells us, that there will be a second part of the game. Did he ever do it?
I started a complete recoding of the adventure in cc65 in the c language. I am relative far at the moment.
The engine was ofcourse done, to have a base for other adventure game, maybe with real grafics and joystick input.
I don't know, how the copyright is handled, but i don't find anything about it and anything about the game in the internet. I would very likely to do a cc65 contribution but i don't want to have rights troubles with such an old game.
Would be ridicoulos!

G'day!
Maybe you meant this?!:

Well, if so, then the copyright has "Markt & Technik" still!
and since they still exsist, you could easily ask them how about it? :)

Yes, it is it. But it seems, that they stated the wrong author!
I mailed to Markt und Technik, and asked for the copyright.
Thank you!

the author is correct, I have the magazine with the type-in lising. Michael Nickles also wrote a complete how-to-do-adventures manual for basic programming. |

So why does he write Hans Guenther Schreck in the Intro?
Is it a pseudonym?
