SID Compo IV?
This question is mainly aimed to CreaMD, but anyway..
Is there going to be a SID Compo IV? haven't seen anything on c64.sk but maybe I just missed it.
Any other online (or not) compos I might be able to participate from afar?

Will be launched this week. According to (now married and therefore pretty busy as I dare to guess) Roman. :)
Most significant music compos that do not require a composer to be present at the party are:
Forever (Slovakia, march)
North Party (Poland, july)
Primary Star (Netherlands, august)
X (Netherlands, november)
(...add those which I forgot about, my memory ain't flawless)
I'm not sure if Breakpoint allows "outside" entries, but even if so, you probably have to hand your tune to someone who goes to Bingen (this year's Surge0n case).
Online sid-compos I've heard of are SidWine and 2010 compo. Both held in late spring/early summer.

Excellent data! I will keep all these in mind when making tunes, I would love to have them released at parties but as I said, most complicated for me.

And I'm glad the SID Compo is going to be held! I always have great fun with it :) It is time to compose!

I enter the TUM Party aswell with 2 tunes! 1xSID and 1xMp3! On the TUM will the tune only played 4mins (erm, only? 4mins is long...on other partys only 3mins, you know...) |

I think it's rubbish to release a tune, if I'm not actually at the party. It kills the spirit of any party.
Show up and compete! Unfortunately I can't come to TUM, it's too far for me. |

It's not as easy when you live thousands of kilometers away and it means you have to purchase a plane ticket, accomodation (maybe) and all. I will do it sometime, but for now, I'd like to participate in any way I can. |
