Going to ZOO - Sheldon Cooper-Style ;)
Ok, the ZOO-party is closing in and this very year I decided to fulfil my -more than a decade old- dream: to get there by train!
This trip will take me through PL, followed by the Baltic States and last but not least FI! Hoping to survive the party, the trip back will be via S and DK. The stops will be at the major cities in most cases (Warsaw, Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, HEL, and then Orivesi ofcourse :-D, and later back via Tornio/Happaranda, Lulea, Stockholm, Göteborg, Copenhagen and Hamburg).
If someone is interested in joining the trip (I know, a bit late for "a call", but hey), or -a bit more realistic- to meet up, send me a pm. Most probably I'll be quite busy when travelling TO the ZOO-party, but I *do* hope that the trip back home will be somewhat cosier.
Really looking forward to this, and if we won't meet on the way - see you at ZOO ;)

Your trip sounds like so much fun!
I haven't been on one of those trains for quite a while. Do you still have to run an extension cord from the bathroom when you want to plug in all your C64 equipment? |

@El Jefe: if everything goes well(tm), it'll be Friday around midday, and I'm planning to also take a train from there to Orivesi then.
Bet that's a bit "too far away" from the evening before, but thank you for the info. We'll meet at the partyplace... well, as written above, *if* everything goes well... |
