some DTV questions...
I have just received my c64-dtv (xmas gift) I tested it and it works fine, not its all wraped up for xmas :(
Anyway, I have a few questions before I re-open it for hacking, probably on boxing day.
1. How do I tell wich version I have? It cam in a hexagon box, rather than the pyramid, I have read that it is likely to be a version 2 ntsc, I get a b/w picture on my pal tv-card.
2. How safe is it to replace the games on the flash (if it has flash)
3. Do muli-load games work from flash, some of my fave games include creaturesII and mayhem in monsterland (both muliload)
thankyou. |

1.
If you get a b/w screen on your PAL monitor you have a NTSC DTV.
A V1 to be exact which has no 2Mb flash but only 128kb which is NOT flashable.
You can still mod it but it isn't as neat as the V3 PAL models (or the NTSC Hummer).
2.
If you have a V1 NTSC, you can't flash it anyway.
If you have a V2 or V3 you can fuck up but tlr's tools work pretty well.
3.
No(t yet).

I checked the games lists for version 1 and 2, I played head the ball and maze mania (to test it) this would suggest version 2 |
