Katakis 2
I was just clearing out my old email account as, as of today I have a new email address (spam is a real problem).
I found an email from Manfred Trenz, as being a huge fan of all these Shoot'em Up I was interested in Katakis 2.
WEC:
"It would be great if Katikas would have a level a little like one of the R-Type levels, the R-Type level where the idea is to make your way around a space ship destroying it, bit by bit (with the screen stopping and starting (scrolling)). I think the level is level 3 in R-Type. There is a game called X-Multiply, that had a similar idea, only the screen only scrolled from left to right (although it did stop and start)."
Manfred Trenz:
"There is of course a stage planned which will be similar to stage 3 of R-Type. Just scrolling from right to left is outdated in these days. Yeah, i know X-Multiply, pretty good!"
These emails were back in 2004 and I wanted to know if there's been any more news? I'm pretty sure Aeg was providing the graphics.

I'm sorry to be the asshole with no real information to advance the case, but are you sure Manfred appreciates this conversation coming into public view? |
