Report unripped music button

Well this is mainly for Perff..

What about a "report unripped music" button on all releases ? (note: please click only when 75% sure)

Clicking that should send an email to hvsc@c64.org with the release URL.

Then we will chew through it.

?

what about 'send an email to hvsc, so they create a fucking link to the sid here'

i mean, just make the crew to chew through every release and add the sids, everything whats left is unripped :-))

I once had the idea, that it should be possible to upload sid's to releases, if one couldn't find it in HVSC. Then these SID's could be sent to HVSC to be added to the next release.

This would of cause require some coding from my side, and perhaps a lot of filtering for the HVSC-crew? So if a report button would do the trick, fine by me. :)

@Oswald: It's seen working on Vice 1.21 - but only one out of 10 tries - dono what I did, as I couldn't make it work again!?? We did some crazy attempt to optimize some code back then, which emus dosn't seem to like. Run it on the real thing or talk to the VICE-team. :)

The solution right now is a bit unsatisfying indeed, with most people dropping a line into the comments if they suspect a tune to be not in HVSC. That makes it really hard to keep track of.

Something like a checkbox in the edit release would be cool too. That way the HVSC crew wouldn't be swamped with emails that are easy to lose anyway. And that way the whole community could search for the "not-HVSC-flag" and help iron out some black holes. I figure in 90% of all cases it would be a matter of _not finding the tune_ in HVSC rather than it not being ripped.
