CSDB Bandwidth Problem

I started getting this message too often lately.

"Sorry. The server is currently to busy to handle your request. Please try again in a few minutes."

Is there anything we can do about it? Something like choosing a higher capacity hosting package & collecting more donations maybe?

P.S: It's not that important but there is a typo in the message. "Sorry. The server is currently >TOO< busy to handle..."

Hm. Thats strange. I've never seen that myself.

I should mention however, that an afternoon a few weeks ago (can't remember the exact date) I made some changed to the database structure, which caused CSDb to be down with this exact message for 2-3 hours.

But if someone see this message, please note the time, and send it to me. I have a log over how busy the server has been at any time which I can compare it with, and after that check the web-logs to see if there was any special activity during that time.

I normally keep an eye on the serverload, and even though it's a little high, it's (almost) never alarming.

Fixed the little typo. :)

And even though you write "bandwidth problem" I think you mean server-processing-power?
afaik there is no problem with the bandwidth, but don't have any specific stats on that.

I've noticed it sometimes as well lately, and also the time CSDb was down for a couple of hours :)

I'll post here when it happens again.

Something is wrong with the load.

From the time of click, to the requested event happens, can be even 10+ seconds, and last 6 months, its been more and more like that.

I thought it was caused by exceeding bandwidth limit, my bad. Whatever the reason is I just wanted to report that because noone else did. I'll write down date/time information and send it here if it happens again.

I've just checked a few central functions and optimized a bit. Nothing special, but anyway. :)

I've also added a little text in the lower right corner telling how long time it took to generate each page.

I've got the feeling this all started after the "latest releases" display had been meddled with a while back.
