Amplifier has SID player
There's two reactions I had to this
1 - WOW, what the FUCK? That is cool! And it sounds pretty great!
2 - Legal connotations. How can they be selling a device with all that music in there? Was this cleared? Who wants to file the first lawsuit? :D

I see tunes by Fanta, David Whittaker, Geir Tjelta, GRG, Jeroen Tel and others

It's an easter egg. The DSP code in these amps is written by Laurent Ovaert (L!OL!O), the author of NanoSID.

Why care about IP in this case honestly. This device doesn't sell itself because of the sid-player anyway, it's just a bonus, much like having HVSC for free online is a bonus. |

Mr. SID, interesting!
I should clarify that this is not a claim about "theft", it just seems odd. I put it up for discussion, because it was very surprising for me :) |

He did it before, on other amps, but usually just one tune. This time around it seems they had lots of unused space on their firmware flash memory chip... ;)

the new firmware of the spiderjam comes without sidplayer and as far as i know lolo no longer works at line6. so don´t be surprised if you can´t find the sidplayer...
here you can read what lolo has to say about this(and a list of all included sids):
