Any interest in an English paper/PDF-mag?

I notice that there are some cool papermags in Polish and German, but not in English. Given that I can't code or pixel, but can do DTP stuff, making an English papermag seems like it would be a good way for me to contribute, but I'd only do it if people are interested...

So, if I were to start a paper/PDF-mag, would people read it? And even more importantly, would anyone be willing to contribute articles or would I be the only one writing?

A mag needs a concept, a style that sets it apart from other mags - a reason to read it.

Example: SIDin magazine - all about SID. this concept holds water.

1. make a concept
2. find editors/writers who know something about the things that your concept is based on, and build a team. its much easier to make things happen, when you are a steady group of dedicated people. (vandalism news has a 'staff' f.ex)

Then, we will read it :D

Well, there's Commodore Free.

Would supporting that be an option?

I'd write for you. I'd even help with editing and layout if you need. Just shoot me a PM if you are serious about this.

If you think you can do all the work 100% by yourself then go for it. People like reading mags and using software but when it comes to support it can be really disappointing - many promises and then nothing.
