SIDplay on Windows Mobile?
Is there even anything like this? Can't find much on google, and here on the forums I only found a vague reference to something like it, of course not backed up with any links ;_)
I'd be fine with pretty much anything. I don't expect the latest and greatest, i.e. a bit outdated isn't something I'm horribly concerned about.

I'll give Java SIDPlay a go.
EDIT: Seems like it doesn't work, gives the following error:
"jsidplay2-1.4.jar cannot be installed because critical information is missing from the application file (MIDlet-Name). - 13"

There was a sidplay1 port for winmo that I used to use a lot. The ARM binaries should still work on modern phones (VM4,WM5,WM6)

I use PocketSid on WM6.5: http://pocketsid.progenitus.com/
The app maybe doesn't look nice but works very nicely and based on sidplay2. |

PocketSID seems to work great! Thanks for the tip! :_)
EDIT: Seems like it doesn't recurse directories though. It can see one SID file in the root of C64music, but not anything in the subdirectories.

I have no problem with that, I just create an .spl playlist in sidplay2.5, change the basedir and that works great in PocketSid. |

Hrm, alright. I didn't know I had to do that first. It'd have been much more convenient to just freely browse from the app itself, instead of being confided to a select few pre-chosen directories.
I'll just use the file browser to select tunes for now ;_)
