Generally ATX PSUs supply only +5V over molex connectors. Since the C64 needs +12V as well, this does seem a bit useless.
Of course, I might be wrong.

The yellow wire of the 4-pin Molex connector is +12VDC.

The c64 takes 9v AC. THAT is the point.
You wont be running any tapes otherwise and you cant seriously want that?? |

i was only looking at disk drives so these things sound good enough to me for that reason only |

The molex to din4 cable is cleary for drive power, if you followed the link. I have no clue why people are bringing C64 into the discussion, these cables aren't for C64 power.
