Disk archiving with 1541u, any tips?
are there any recommended software out there, maybe even using special 1541u features? |

I am not sure if this is what you are asking for, but just create .d64 images with the 1541U and then use some favoured disk copy program to "transfer" the real disk onto the disk image?
...or what is it that you are looking for? Do you need some particular feature not covered by the example above? |

the best way is still using warpcopy ... manually creating d64s and then using a copy program gets boring very quickly and its not nearly as fast either. |

Frantic, yeah something like that, but..
I totally forgot about the 1541u's ethernet interface, so is it warpcopy compatible ? :) |

I am still hoping for the feature to be built into the 1541U kernel - reading/writing .d64s with the push of a button. I am sure it will come some day, but probably has low priority. |
