Multiple handles for same scener now possible
I guess the topic says it all. :)
One scener can now have more handles with their own attachments to groups, releases etc. (memberships, credits, ....)
It's not complete yet - but it works (I think. ;) )

since you said that its not complete yet, I hope all handles will show up on one page again with a list of all releases of all handles attached to the person, when you're finished with this feature?
also, a simple handle-switch for a credit or group affiliation would be cool, adding new credits and deleting the old ones could turn out to be quite time consuming =) |

The things you describe is some of the things I plan to add!
However I havn't completly realised all the consequences of a scener suddenly being able to have more than one handle, so there might be something I've forgot to put on my todo list.

so far so good...
I'd like to see all releases of the person in question back on one page though, without the need to click on the other handle to check what he did using that one...
also, put all groups he belongs/belonged to back on one page...
you can still mark groups/releases of a different handle as e.g.
"Digital Excess, Hitmen, The Chip Crunchers (as Playboy)" on the Burn page
and
"Digital Excess (as Burn), Hitmen (as Burn), The Chip Crunchers" on the Playboy page
either way, it should be possible to view all the info back on one page, as it used to be when the multiple handle thing wasnt possible |

Could not execute SQL query: "INSERT INTO memberprofession (member_id,profession_id) VALUES ('','3')"
when I tried to switch the handle someone used in a group, and the founder handle doesnt seem to be switch-able yet, either |

Now there shouldn't come any sql-error again.
I also seem to forgot to make it possible to change handle for organizers - that will come soon.

sql error is gone, but the links to the other handles on top of the edit page have quotes around the id, bringing you to the CSDB main screen instead of the handle edit page
plus... it'd be nice to be able to enter the times the most recent handle was used, too, since we can't really assume that the most recent handle was used ever since the older one wasnt used anymore (some people took a break and all), and even if it is the most recent handle, it isnt necessarily still in use either

I don't think it's such a good idea to code when you are tired. :) All the bugs you don't find.
Well. I fixed the qouting thing, and I've planed all along to add dates to the main handle as sugested.
Also I'll find a way to display all the info on the sceners info page - but not today. :) |
