Acidchild already checked his archive, to no avail...
Would be nice to have some more infos, but if you don't remember the names, you will even less remember the SYS-line or anything else... |

I checked some vast collections, but your releases are hard to find if they weren’t wide spread. But we find more and more obscure stuff every day. It can take years to find your specific stuff, though. Patience.
I would recommend you to get into preservation yourself and look around. It is not rocket science. |

We are all getting older, and so are the floppies that might contain your releases. If I were you i would buy a lot of old UK floppies and preserve them so we can search the content for your stuff. ;) |

Ive got around 1500 to 2000 floppies in my attic , digging thru them once in a while. |

I do not understand... You have around 2000 floppies, my guess is that there is a great chance that releases you seek are there, but can't be bothered to send them to someone to scan them for you? And yet you ask others to search for those releases? |

Sorry to sound harsh, but why would we bother spending hours looking for your stuff then?! 2000 flops? C'mon. Send them over to someone that can transfer them for you and you probably will get your beloved releases?! Do you know how much effort we spend into this shit daily, and you are sittin' there on a floppy treasure that will rot away even further in some years, and won't ass yourself to give one hour to send them over to someone that will spend 40+ hours doing hard work for you for free, and save your stuff for you?
That's just rude, man. I for sure won't look for your stuff anymore. I mean, how dare you ask us to find your stuff for you if you can't even ass yourself to grab your massive amount of flops and get them properly transferred? |

There are peeps that will do it 100 times better and good for you, and won't leak the content. We have pro equipment and gear, and a good track record (heh). I have transferred well over 30.000 floppies myself.. I have done that work for many, many sceners in the past, just like Acidchild.. He is just one of the pros doing this on a daily basis. You could probably find a more local guy. I am in Sweden, Acidchild in Germany.
Just curious. How are you planning to transfer them? |

I'm sorry, this is not really my business, but just trying to understand the logic here... So you've been searching (or rather asking other people to search) for your old releases for nearly FOUR. YEARS. now, while ALL THIS TIME you've been sitting on a throne made of floppies that very likely have most if not all of your releases in them, but you just haven't bothered going through them.
Now when we got to know about your huge collection of floppies, and kind people who dedicate their time and skills for preservation efforts have offered to preserve them for you for free, even privately if you want to keep your floppies that way, you can't be asked sending them over. Even though they would very likely have most if not all of your releases in them.
Dude... I hope you find at least some irony in this. :D |

Then why do you keep asking us to spend hours on your requests? I do hope you send the batch to someone you trust. The alternative is 2000 dead flops. They are already too old. You should have backed them up decades agoto ensure everything is safe. |

Please do, but please add your own energy into the mix: Don't be a cry baby; back up your disks and help us all preserve the c64 legacy. |

CBA might still live in Switzerland (?), but he sure knows who to contact close to where you live. |

Yes I do still live in Switzerland so I can't transfer them.
I suggest he contact Mace or Cavey from Xenon.
He could also simply come to our X party next year and the transfer team would transfer all his disks during the event. |

I'm also in The Netherlands and i'm willing to transfer them for you. I don't have that fancy equipment though. I think Mace would be perfect for the job, he also did my collection some years back. |

Going to X is the best option. Mason, MdZ and the Transfer Team always do a great job, and you will get your disks back before they go home again. |
