in my younger years when i just was 14 or 15 i played with a friend a war game. 1 could play with 3 soldiers, 1 had grenades, other machineguns. it lookes like command and conquer ;-) i don't know if i remember me it right but if anyone can help me. i don't know title or whatever x_x

btw: some non c64, but hard to get: anyone who wants to sell his dune (techno music) cd's or able to copy? in holland they're not selling ém ...

Yeah it sure sounds like cannon fodder a great game on amiga. There was also a c64-version, but afaik that was a non-commercial game made after the amiga version and the c64 version was sure really ugly.

But hey Drake It's really hard to know when you played it. You said you were 14-15, but what does that means to us who don't know how old you are.

Yeah you have a good music taste, DUNE roxx, especially "million miles from home" and "hardcore vibes" ..

I once had the CD with the song "million miles from home" on, but a friend borrowed it and i havent seen or heard from him since 2001.

Are you sure you can't buy it in Holland?

well, on 29 december i will be on the respective age of 25 ;-) and yes, i got the cd million miles from home (also the single)

it's 10 years ago i played this game and it could be a non-commercial game as i don't know anything about docs or other infos..even no intro screen. :-( but is there any place on i-net i could find this game??

@dosoo: i'm pretty sure it wasn't laser squad. however, i played today some nice games. and there was a game which was using 3d animations. a kind of flight game ala descent. it contains only 2 levels. and you are able when you have some money earned in the game to buy better weapons, shield, ship etc. very cool! also old game.

@drake

well you should check the digital dungeon atleast there is a file there named cannonfodder.dlx (huh richards fakelabel crackgroup).

ftp://ftp.scs-trc.net/pub/c64/Scene/Old/c/

otherwise check c64.com or any other c64.sk gamesite. But my advice is that you still should try to get a version on amiga/pc as the c64 version unfortunaly wasnt that good.

btw what was the name on the album that the song "million miles from home" is on ?

Well if my rusty brain is not failing again the tune from dune was on their 1996 album "Expedicion".

I had the dishonour to see them playing "live" in a lame disco around my place. the only cool thing was that chick, the rest was MD-Player....
