Effect box
I want a new release-category. in the CSDb called "box of effects"
There, everyone could upload effect of sounds that could be usable in new 64-games.
Sometimes, when composing, you get that strange effect or sound, but it is not a complete song.

Excellent idea! While we're at it, I also want a new category called "box of pixels"
There, everyone could upload graphics that could be usable in new 64-games.
Sometimes, when pixelling, you get that strange shape or color, but it is not a complete picture. |

Excellent idea! While we're at it, I also want a new category called "text snippets"
There, everyone could upload a few blocks of texts that other people could put in their demos.
Especially partydemos would profit from this! |

Excellent idea! While we're at it, I also want a new category called "mag snippets"
There, everyone could upload a few blocks from an article that other people could put in their mags.
Especially the big mags would profit from this! |

Excellent idea! While we're at it, I also want a new category called "bit bucket"
There, everyone could upload combinations of bits that could be usable in new 64-prgs.
Sometimes, when coding, you get that strange bit combination, but it is not a complete program. |

Excellent idea! While we're at it, I also want a new category called "box of tiny security gaps"
There, everyone could upload small hacks that could be usable in new 64-cracks.
Sometimes, when cracking, you get that strange split in the code, but it is not a complete crack. |

Excellent idea! While we're at it, I also want a new category called "box of banter"
There, everyone could upload witty remarks that could be usable in the forum.
Sometimes, when posting, you get that funny oneliner, but it is not a complete wisecrack. |

Fredrik, i think its much better if you keep all your unfinished experiments on a disk for itself, and when you have 20 of then, you can make a small sfx demo out of it, press a-z for sfx - then you have a proper release out of unfinished crap :D |

Yes, but you need to release it at a party and make sure it's recorded on video without sound and then BURN the only existing copy!

Devia: you cannot destroy a C64 program forever.
When the program has run once in your machine, it stays there forever in RAM, and can be restored with magnetism tech that is available in any store in the near future. |

TPM: harddisks can be restored, not only to last saved files, but to files saved before them, and before them. the states of the magnets can be traced, with hitech equipment.
so why not ram ? |
