64'er/Game-On/Golden Disk

Looking for d64/nibs of 64'er after 96/01 issue, all Game-On and all Golden Disk.

If you swapper and crackers out there have copies, please share them, they are hard to find!

Thanks, and full credits in any release I make of them.

Also , any printed mags from these disks with documents in them are also appreciate from ANY year. (I don't care if they are german, translation is available).

Also looking for Hungarian ones from 576 kbyte etc, and pretty much any 90's published originals by independants and what not.

Yeah, I've searched for original copies of a few Golden Disk issues for years now. I've found a few on eBay.de over the years but never the issues I'm after.

Thank you MrSID, I was not aware of that site, it helps with some of the issue's of Game-On, although some are missing.

I think I have all Magic Disk until 96/01 issue, after that I do not, and I know there are because I had them before and cracked at least one of them... not that you can really call it cracking... but =]

Hopefully some people come forward with these originals as they are getting to be quite rare. I do not care if they are good games or not, more into the preservation of things. =]

Graham has all images 100% working, unfortunately he already cracked the timex ones. there is a site on the internet, too, maybe gurkensaft groepaz can give you a hand, too.

I have all discs on real 5.25" but I am not able to nibble any missing ones right now as I don't have my stuff handy.

grahams archive is fine, and no its not "cracked" (the timex issues will not work, you can make them work by running the timex fake header writer on them). all content is online at http://magicdisk.untergrund.net - i have the last few "paper" issues as pdf aswell, incase anyone wants them :)

while we are at it, i have started to build a similar archive for the german "input 64" magazine. if you have *any* issues as either d64/tap/nib which you did NOT download form the interweb, please throw it into my direction :)

Input64:
I have all input magazines and tapes (and a few disks left still I think).
Can't dump em all now though. But if there are some individual images missing? Always wanted to make a complete selection of it as well, since there is none...

enthusi: basically everything is still missing, as far as proven "authentic" images, i only have your taps and a few more issues as nibs - so anything is wanted at this point. i have a WIP list of missing stuff though, at this point mostly useful incase you want to scan some of the mags too :)

Many thanks to Graham for Game-On issues, Didi and MrAlpha for some Golden Disk issues, and Madz for his interesting in this project also.

Still need unmodified dumps of 64er issues especially the later issues.

I would like to add Commodore Scene and GO!64 to the want list of magazines/disks.

Please help with this project as preservation of our beloved commodore stuff (no matter what it is!) is very important.

Many thanks to Jazzcat for MANY MANY issues of 64er. Thank you also to Ninja for the 2nd release of the 64er CD.

Come on people, be champs and help out like all these guys have. I know some of you are collecting this stuff also for your personal collections. It's a pain to D64 stuff up, but you can do it! (slator, bug bug bug! ;) )

Well, this doesn't _really_ fit here, but I was wondering wether someone is currently trying to preserve those cheapo "Europa" tapes which got sold in Germany.

I know you guys do a fine job and games and demos is mostly been taken care of, but since these (back then) 10 german mark games were like never cracked and even rarely copied (AND often in Basic :) ) I suppose they fell off the radar. They were fun though!

Those tapes often had a cpc or atari version on the non-c64 side of the tape but who cares about those rotting systems... :)

So, anyone got those? (A few of those games are online at gb64 and some old page somewhere is having an incomplete list but that seems to be it)

Thanks CBA, Mdz and... Transfer Team, present at the X-parties and the people who bring thier disks to them - and the others who spend time on transfering disks sent from all over the world.

Although I managed to get all Game-On from graham already, another copy is nice to have.

Now just need Golden Disk issues I miss, and Input64. Groepaz is working on Input64 though so not much to worry about.

Yesterday I also grabbed all issues of LoadStar. When I finish sorting things I'll start putting them on TDD also.

Some missing stuff, is Game-On Golden Issues, I now have issue 2. I don't know how many there are, or what is on them. It would be nice to at least know what to look for.

Thanks to C0 for posting on F64, issue 94/01 has been located.

I made a small mistake in the above list, issue 01 is still missing.

Apparently, there are 3 Special Issue's of Game-On, and also some special issues of Magic Disk.

For those who are interested...

ftp://ftp.scs-trc.net/pub/c64/Magazines/64er

and

ftp://ftp.scs-trc.net/pub/c64/Magazines/Loadstar

collections have been uploaded to TDD.

Emailed you Sword of Honour, to your email address from your CSDb account.

As for 15 1991: It's "Stümp", or if "ü" is not available, make it "ue", ie. "Stuemp" ;)

Thanks to madz for a copy of issue 50 with a different bad block than the one I had, so I was able to repair side 1 of the issue and it is now working 100%.

Thanks to MacGyver for issue 43!

The collection is almost complete now, only need issue #1 (the magic disk 128 issue), Grand Monster Slam, and a working side 2 of issue #42, Western Games.

pushing this up again... who would have thought that i'll have the pdfs complete before i have all disk images... so here is whats still missing:
/Input64_nib - nib images of the disks

    11/85 1/86 2/86 5/86 6/86 7/86 8/86 9/86
    Special 01/88

note: nib images are useful only when they come from original disks, not
      copies or hacked versions.

/Input64_d64 - d64 images of the disks

2/85 3/85 (tape only issues, transfers/"hacked" versions that loads from
               disk would be nice)
    11/85 1/86 2/86 5/86 6/86 7/86 8/86 9/86
    Special 01/88

note: most wanted are unmodified images from the original disks, "cracked"
versions are only of interest if they contain actual "intros" or
      "tags" from the cracker.

... it would be super awesome if we could close this one until X - ie if you have any of the missing disks, bring them to X damnit! =)
