Here's a box I had done when I went to ECCC. It's small, but I'm still archiving.

http://db.tt/XlxBONLv

Also, here's a box of disks I backed up on Sat. Night at the Expo. It was a box that Dracosilv had with him that he'd said he got on the freebie pile the previous year, and said there was bbs stuff on there. Several different programs, and some terminals I'm not familiar with, as well as some games too. Again fairly small, but some goodies in there.

the loadstar file is an cd image from blindwrite
if you change the .B6I to .iso you can read the file.
or just burn it onto cd.

It also contains pics and mp3's.

Hi there,

looking for something I found through google which indexed some .ru filecrawler and which could be on one of the archives from here, who knows? :)

"Commodore/Commie-CDs/Kazez Disk1/UTILITY/124A.D64" is the path/file I found as dead ftp link. Interestingly it was described with

"174848 02-28-98 BLITZ, DI-DOCTOR, DISK CRACKER, DI-NIBBLE, COMPARE DISKS, SCRATCH-ER, BASIC HEADER, KERNAL SEQ LIST, SYSRES BOOTER, ASCII BUFFER, CRACKER DATA"

of which I am especially after "SYSRES BOOTER" and additional files there.

Please have a look on your local storage network - thx :)

Hi guys,

Here we go with part 2 (final) of the Tadpole Collection. Over 800 disks here that are now preserved! This second collection, unlike the first, does not contain disks from The Black Playboy.

http://www.adrive.com/public/f05ba2b15907fbf2ccfc253df37f34a78f..

p.s. on image 1012.d64 is a group called Skaters (haven’t found them on CSDb and on image 0792.d64 is a group called Duck Software (QUACK!), so some promise in this collection of some new things at least.

Hi all,

Finally the Derbyshire Ram Collection is complete. Heavy Lifting was conducted by Maestro and Peepo, who painstakingly converted this archive of almost 6000 disks spanning the long scene career of the late Derbyshire Ram (rest in peace Barry!).

The 7zip formatted archive includes Part 1 of the collection (released a few years ago) it also includes photos and a detailed README file to give some background on Derbyshire Ram, his collection and the process of collecting and archiving it.

The below link is only temporary until a mirror is created, enjoy this great collection, preserved for all time thanks to the hard efforts of those involved.

It's been far too long since any new disk archives have been posted, so at long last I have 2 new ones to post. One is an archive I backed up for someone that wanted her disks imaged and burned to a cd and the other is kind of a proof of ease of use of the Zoomfloppy. I backed it up at ECCC. Both of them have some early US cracks and various other stuff. Hope to see some other new archives as the fall months come into full swing.

Well when the backup bug hits, you gotta go with it. A couple more smaller packs of US stuff. Maybe not quite as much scene stuff, but more goodies nonethless. They are both on www.scenebase.org

Hi Everybody
I've dumped some disks I've bought from a Flea Market in Rome, Italy and I would like to share them with all of you, Commodore enthusiastics.. Here's the link to download the zip (more to come):

http://sea7.altervista.org/sea7/Sea7_dumps1.zip

By the way... anyone can post this link in the "THE MOVERS Treasure Chest " topic of REQUESTS of CSDB... I can't register as it seems they accept only registrations of people from the scene... also inclusion on scenebase would be great.... I've tried to contact scenebase.org but I'ven't received any reply

Hope you'll enjoy my efforts!

Well, here is another small collection. I have 3 others that are being worked on now for placement onto scenebase, as well as a large US collection that I'm working through. Hope to have a new writeup for the scenebase page, but it looks to be on par with the Derbyshire Ram colleciton, with regard to the amount of disks. Most of them were disks that were US or US imports, so hope to find some more missing US cracks. Anyways, goto http://www.scenebase.org

Finally another demonger box released on scenebase.org. It's a little over 350 disk images of some good US stuff. some pd, but some warez as well. The next several releases will be a massive collection that will rival many of the larger collections that have been released. It is mainly US releases, with many imports as well. Was from someone I mailtraded with back in the day, and he swapped all over the world, and traded hardware with many as well. I'll have more details on www.scenebase.org when I get the information out of my skull and on the keyboard. Anyways, here is the link for the newest box from me. http://scenebase.org/collections/c64/sets/demonger-disk-box-9-f..

Thanx,

On last DoReCo Party I relceived a collection from a guy wich did have good relation to the cracker group "Operation Underground". So I guess there can be a lot of stuff of that group found in this collection.

You can get it here:

Sorry, that is the link that I got from that guy.
Maybe that it could be only downloaded a few times.
But as I can see there are many new OUG entries done by "Matt" today.
Probably that he did get the file before it was outdated.
On the other hand, has somewhere a hint where I could host the archive for free and where I do not need an account?

WTF do you have to do to actually download from 4shared? Sign up for spam? I can't believe we don't have a better solution for moving large files around than this in 2013.

Edit - Sign up with a bogus email address, never confirm - it'll give you a download link. Someone with some serious bandwidth and $$ should set up sceneshare.net ;)

Well at lonbg last, I';ve poosted a snall writeup and have the first sectioun of a massive US based disk collection I've been working on and will continue on for the forseeable future. This new archive is a little over 800 disk images, withg mnany more to come. You've fiune many US releases not seen on the web before, some old imports, and many other images. Read a little of the history, and enjoy this great commodore disk collection.

Should be more soon. Also, was at ECCC this weekend. Picked up 4 more collections, and talked to several others about backing up their collections as well. Also gave some tutorials about installation and use of zoomfloppy and cbmxfer. Hopefully there will be some other collections to grace these pages soon. Besides the current Page/Zimmerman collection, I figure I ended up with another 1000+ disks this weekend to work on. Lotsa goodies still waiting to be explored.

Another small posting from me. Some disks that I archived at this past year's ECCC expo in Chicago in late Sept. I mainly was archiving to show how easy it was to archive using a zoomfloppy, laptop, and the cbmxfer software on a win7 pc. Helped 2 others install and get up and running that weekend. There's always more coming from me.

I know this is an unlikely thing to happen, but if anyone by accident is going to drive from Vienna to Dresden by car let me know. Cause I got 1000s of disks here which would be best to be transfered with Acidchild (who lives in Dresden)'s advanced hardware and the postage for these huge amounts is a lot.

Well it's been awhile, and there's more to come, but here's another good bunch of US release disks from the Page/Zimmerman collection I've been working on. Still alot more to go, but this should help with the lull in archived stuff of late. More to come in the coming weeks. Enjoy!

Well more commodore disk archive goodness from us at www.scenebase.org We've posted a few obscure disk archives in the last week or so, and have the Stonysoft dvd posted today, as well as Demonger Box 10, that one is a little over 1000 disk images, lots of good US release warez stuff, along with a smattering of PD and local user stuff. Hope you guys fine some missing releases in there.

http://scenebase.org/

The Stonysoft images that were posted are just that collection. The other pd collections on the disk, will be posted later.

Well here I go again. Well this is not another Demonger producton, but instead this is from Hednig/GP. He contacted me a couple of weeks ago, wondering if we'd like to host some disk images of some auction disks that he'd archived. I said we'd love to, and here they are. I think there's more where that came from as well, but as those of you know who archive, it takes time, energy, and motivation to work your way through. Well anyways, www.scenebase.org or http://scenebase.org/collections/c64/sets/hedning_disks_batch1

Untold treasures from some polish commercial warez disks I just imaged for a friend. He got these along with some used C-64s he bought from Poland.

Disclaimer: I didn't bother looking inside very thoroughly, so I won't be held responsible if the treasure ends up being a pile of crap. :-) The filenames are what was on the disk labels (matrix printed!).

Even more old disks from dump sessions past. Mostly games, but there may be some cracks by Finnish groups in there.
http://jope.fi/gruerakki.zip
http://jope.fi/nirvi.zip

These are from the very first dump session of my life, back in 1994. We were moving from the Amiga to PC, C64S was amazingly good compared to the A64 package and we were eager to emulate. :-) Mainly games again.
http://jope.fi/tm.zip

And some plus/4 warez I received with a Plus/4 years ago.
http://jope.fi/plus4.zip

If someone knows where plus/4 stuff should be submitted, please feel free to share the link with plus4 lovers..

And again, eventually these links will disappear, thanks for mirroring, The MeatBall!

WOW Hard to believe it's been 6 months since the last post in this feed. A smallish post was just updated to www.scenebs.org. A little over 600 images from the page/zimmerman collection that I did some months ago. Hope we'll get some more updates on there soon. I know Elwix has a couple of other archives I did awhile back to process and post, so hope to see more soon. Have more to do before ECCC as well, so here's to hoping for some other archive posts soon.

Another small one I did over the weekend while at ECCC/VCFMW. A small collection from commodore users group of Kansas City. Probably mainly PD stuff, but an archive nonetheless. Much more to come.

usually the images of the disks that i'm transfering for old sceners are given also to the owner itself and they can decide by their own if they want to share them or not.
the content (demos/cracks) of the disks is usually uploaded here by cba. nevertheless, i can upload some collections too, if there is demand.

It would be awesome to have some fresh collections to check out. Of course the ones that you are allowed to share. :) I have the same principle.

This update includes long lost editions of magazines such as CCCP, Iguana, Illegal, Pirates and Stolen Data along with an assortment of bug-fixes and other extremely rare findings.

Hedning's latest postings are also on www.scenebase.org, as well as another one from me. It says Cougar collection, and before you jump to any xrated conclusions(heh), this is from a users group in Iowa. Had access to the disks from a fellow up that way, and archived them before ECCC/VCFMW this year. Not a huge one, but alot of qlink downloads, so all kinds of stuff.

Yogibear was so kind to hand me over his collection too. It looks like it includes stuff from SPC but it sure has a very special set of floppies: those of Charles Deenen!
Don't expect rare finds, though. I haven't verified with either Yogi or Charles, but it looks like some sides were strategically formatted... no rare games or work tune :-)

In total the collection had about 18 boxes with an average of 125 floppies each. When I'm totally done transfering and MdZ, CBA and Mason are done skimming them, I'll be looking for server space to share the images with you.

Seems like many of the disks are bad transfers? Are you checking the disks for errors before uploading them? If you are using ZoomFloppy I would recommend d2d64 - there you can follow the process and see bad reads and hopefully fix them.
