sidplay2 for windows
it's c64 related so that's my excuse to ask it here ;-)
i use sidplay2 since a couple of months and it's a nice prg but.... when i try to save some sid as wav-music (for a nice ringtone or whatever) it only wants to save the first 30 seconds.. and nothing more. even not when i try to type 12 seconds or 31 seconds. anyone knows if this is a bugging prg? i tried to reach their page but it was not available yet.

The new Sidplay2 Windows homepage is:
http://www.gsldata.se/c64/spw/
Try a newer version, because I don't have any trouble saving WAVE files longer than 30 seconds. |

Haven't heard of this problem either. Have you tried manually setting the playtime in ->Settings ->Wav to another amount of seconds? Close the settings window, then reopen it. The value you just entered should still be there, as a future default setting. |

Try both confirming your entry with Return and hitting the OK button. Come on, this has to work somehow! :-) |

One more suggestion:
Go to your Windows directory, there should be a file called Sidplay2w.ini. Open it in notepad and edit the setting manually. Also check that it's not writeprotected.
The entry is all down on the bottom:
[WAV SETTINGS]
Frequency=44100
Channels=1
BitsPerSample=16
Buffers=4
Buffersize=8192
Time=134 |
