1541 II code expert needed

Hi,

The editor I use for coding, Kwik-write, locks the drive, but only on 1541 II which I use.

In Kwik-write you must press shift+run/stop to unlock the drive, before quitting. In fact, it unlocks the drive and resets to BASIC - but..

That only works on 1541 I.

On 1541 II it unlocks, but does not quit (reset).

After quit on 1541 II, the first file you load is loaded at a random ? wrong address.

2nd load try goes ok.

This is annoying!!! like hell :-)
(because I then always load the assembler, right after)

Can someone fix Kwik-write ?

The editor is on the CBM macro asm disk I did some months ago: Commodore Macro Assembler

Any help is appreciated!
