commodore dossier

anyone has the complete .d64 of the commodore dossier demo contest held in 1988? An entry I still remember was called: "mark's movement'

commodore dossier was a dutch c64 papermagazine.

Here are all the issues online.

http://commodore-gg.hobby.nl/commodore_dossier.htm

I've added some of the missing demos from the compos, in fact more are missing, would anyone have those two floppies with all the demos that competed ? (See page 37 of the Issue #16)

Quote: nice to kow about that rule, if you're right about that rule, the second place should be disqualified also back then. Conntribution1/hsp/manowar re-used a hsp logo done by HPH not by DSC. Could it be that there were more competitions held by commodore dossier...? there might have been two, but not sure.

The results don't show disqualification because of that rule. I guess they were happy with any free content. :)

I don't think there ever was an official floppy available with all the competing demos.

Doesn't Fit... by me and Movecombination Two by Mr. Mad were also in that compo and were mentioned in the pages referred to by CBA.
Trouble is that these are the 'scene release' versions and although they are the same, the versions containing the dutch 'compo-text' are lost.
I'll let it up to the maintainer of the page to include these versions or not.

Yes there are, you could have had them for 25 dutch guldens, as written in the magazine on page 37, somebody should have bought it back then.

I think I found another one today: Dossier Demo. Maybe some dutch person can read the scroller and add more info about it.

And yet another: Tiger Demo.

Programmed and designed by Bas Klaaysen, he also did the music in SoundMonitor. Though I can't hear any music (using x64sc).

When running it again, I get a different part, again code & design by Bas Klaaysen, music made in 'Ubiks Music', whatever that is.

The graphics also seem to be done by him.

The part shown after the rasters (press fire on joy#2), seems to be random.

added a comment about it, part 1 tune seems broken beyond repair, tune 2 is an edit of Tonal_Teapot\Ubiks_Musik.sid

I thought so too, it was part of the disks I found, filled with Dossier demos.
