Looking for a vertical scrolling notemaker

Hey all,

I remember seeing a note attached to some crack or other that, instead of having multiple pages, let you smoooothly scroll up and down the entire note with the joystick or cursor keys. Anyone know which one this is? (Maybe there are several.)

Also, are there any noters that let you set the color of each character individually?

A noter that had both of these features would be really great. Anyone know of one?

antifans voodoo noter comes to mind (search csdb for several versions)
and nebula did a scrolling notemake too (FSC-Noter V1.02). i can only find version 1.02 but im shure he released some newer versions. i guess both without colorram.

For some colors but without scrolling try King-A-Noter

Since we're plugging writers anyway:

Not scrolling but typing Real-Writer style, with some extra features: my own Wacky Writer v2.4 :-P

Thanks everyone - no luck yet though...

-L&T notes are exactly the effect I want. They lock their notes down pretty hard though (crash on resume from monitor ;-)

-Dead link for FSC-Noter.

-King-a-Noter points to ftp.elysium.pl, which suddenly is wanting a login.

-Voodoo Noter works really well, but freezes when I edit colors (I'm using the NTSC-fix, too)

So, basically, what you want is a notewriter that lets you scroll the text up and down, while you can use different colours for the text?

And probably a notewriter that holds the editor inside, including the cruncher... like a lot of writers have?

Anything else?

Unfortunately I haven't got any time to make this, but it doesn't seem too hard. Perhaps there's someone who's willing to give it a go...

Yeah, that pretty much describes it.

I was able to 'fake' it with Voodoonoter by setting its Flash colors to all be the same. It uses extended background mode so I only had four colors, but I made do ;-)

Voodoonoter's very cool though, despite the lockup bug. I love the integrated font editor!

i believe one of the versions of timenoter does this. i knw it does the scrolling, tho i think the 'colour per char' thing is only one of four colours

Hello Guys,

I've found a newer version of my FSC-Noter on my d64-images. Look at FSC-Noter V2.1+i for v2.1 with support for double speed tunes and other improvements.

If I can find the Turbo Ass source sode, I'll also upload it.

Greets,

Nebula

Nebula, this is great! Thanks for posting it. Awesome SID too ;-)

A couple of minor gripes though. The scrolling is quite jumpy on an NTSC machine. Also, the <- key doesn't work, seems stuck on #8. Would love to be able to use up to drive #15 on my IDE64. Any chance of a quick fix?
