fix needed: Fcopy III for REU
hi,
someone here who can provide me with a fix for:
FCopy III for the 256 K Ram-System
to work with
Commodore 64 1764 RAM EXPANSION
its not for me. a friend use this combination very often - and REU compatiblity would be nice.

Check your hardware.
Because this program IS for REU only.
What you need to run this program is:
1) A REU unit.
2) A 1541 drive with paralell cable connected to the
parallell (user) port of your C64.
Btw, it uses mirrored registers to talk with
the reu unit ($dfe0-$dfff).

Standard registers for talking with a REU unit is
located at $df00-$df10.
If you enable REU emulation in WinVice and load this program, then go to monitor, you will see these registers are also mirrored to:
df10-df20
df20-df30
df40-df50
...
dfe0-dff0
dff0-e000
For some reason this program uses the mirrored
registers at $dfe0-$dff0.
If this is part of your problem I dont know.
But as I said in previous post, this program
requires a parallell cable .. if you dont have
that you will only get a black screen when pressing space.
