Looking for info about game "vending machines"
During the mid-90s some stores had a machine that created game originals "on-demand", and you could buy games for several game systems, on both tapes and floppies. Does anyone have any info about what these machines were named or which company made them? |

EDOS sounds like the droid you are looking for. There is some stuff on mobygmaes about it, iirc, but I'm failing at finding that right now. |

here in the netherlands i know companies like Dixons and Vroom & dreesman had them. I bought some of these back them.
the quality isn't bad, good chrome tapes and disk.
but lacking the cool original art sometimes.

Yep I also remember seeing this at the local Dixons at the time. I admit I never got anything from them because when games are duplicated on demand only means these games will never be found in the bargain bin and retain their original prices. |
