Commodore MPS 1270 Printer manual
I'm looking for Commodore MPS 1270 Printer Manual. I found only one .pdf source on web but they wants from me to pay $50 for a file. Anyone has this book or/and .pdf version and could share with me?
I'm hardly trying to run this printer on my C64 but computer says device not presents. I'm wonder if this is a matter of dip switch sequence in printer? Any help is very appreciated, thanx in advance! |

I only have a MPS-1250, so I guess my manual won't be of any use to you, but have you checked http://www.bombjack.org/ ? |

I have 2 mps1270A. I got at least one to work on the c64 some time ago, even with GEOS in gfx mode. I am now still going through house change and it is packed somewhere. I don't remeber for sure if I have the manual, but I will look. It will take a while, thuo, as I have most of my commodore stuff not at home. I used a serial cable. |

ok, found the manual, but it's in italian. Anyhow I'll try to scan it and put it somewhere. What is the best place?
There are two sections for DIP switches: one for serial connection and one for parallel (centronics) connection.
More to come....... |

I checked the scans posted on Lemon some time ago and noticed that these include also the Centronics section (it's called "modo parallelo" from page 3-8). I hope this is what you need.
In case I noticed there is a section about the parallel (centronics) connector on page B-2 of appendix.
I still have to find some time to scan the whole manual, blame me :(
