I've been using for years a version 8.5 which has built in special loader for 1541 II which of course doesn't work with 1581. Dunno about this 8.5, it's perhaps 8.4 with some adds (credits for Hitmen in help menu are deleted). I know about this tool Dir Master 1581 but I've been not testing it yet.
