Was originally the group behind "Instinct BBS Ware" for PC. The group slowly decayed after 1998 and RaveGuru (active but groupless on C64 since 1992) introduced Univerz to the C64 world and resurrected the group in 1998 with just the two of them, carrying on the name "Instinct" into the C64 scene. Was mainly active on the C64 BBS's and some game and graphic releases in the beginning.
But there was a plan. As the millennium turned over, RaveGuru became collage with JackAsser (Pernod/HZ's brother) and the two instantly became good friends. "I immediately recognized the potential in Andreas. Not only as a brilliant coder but also as it turns out, on a social level as well, and a great friend." says RaveGuru. It wasn't long until JackAsser got all hooked up on the C64 (again) reading VIC-II papers before bedtime and optimizing 6510 code in his sleep.
Unfortunately Univerz decided to leave the scene after only some unfinished demo attempts by the group, leaving Instinct without a graphician. For a couple of years the group was left to doing collaborations. It wasn't until 2007 when Archmage/Andromeda contacted the group and asked if we needed a graphician. "I remember me and [Rave]Guru looking at each other with the expression on the face kids normally have on christmasday's morning before opening all the presents." says JackAsser. RaveGuru fills in "Not only is Håkon a legendary graphician, he's one hell of a lusekofte [traditional norwegian stiched sweater]" says RaveGuru laughingly.
It's no doubt that the Instinct guys are a great team but they are having fun too. Instinct is keeping on its tradition of collaborating with other groups and in different projects, such as game conversions. Only the future knows what these "8 bit Super Stars" will bring to our beloved commie.

| A true shame this group merged with Booze imho. Though i understand why. Ohwell, it was a short but fantastic ride! |
